Pinterest was launched five years ago, and since then the site has revolutionized online content sharing. With its focus on visual Web content and its popular grid layout, Pinterest is a treat to use from the first day you open your account. Savvy social media managers also love Pinterest for driving referral traffic. According to Shareaholic, Pinterest produces more than twice as many social media referrals to websites as Twitter. In fact the only other social network that currently drives more traffic around on the Web is Facebook.
