14 Inspirational Typography Posters to Help You ‘Create Something’ Awesome

Many say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I don’t believe this to be entirely true. If you can find a way to create something original or useful in this world, well, that is a beautiful thing in itself. Here at DashBurst we try to highlight the most interesting news and awesome work of artists, designers and more. And since I know that even the most creative people can eventually run into mental block, I’ve decided to “Create Something” that should help.

Inspired by the minimalist artwork of Anthony Burrill in his new typography poster book I Like It. What Is It?, I decided to put forth a few words of inspiration for designers, authors and other inventors. I liked Burrill’s aesthetic delivery, which keeps designs simple and easy to understand. His work focuses on clearly communicating a message through minimalist yet very powerful typography art, an approach too often forgotten by creatives who instead try to dazzle audiences with elaborate designs.

Essentially we are what we write, and that not only extends to our words but also to how we convey them. In the end, creating something isn’t all that hard, you just have to be ready and willing to try… And then try harder. Always be ready to write your ideas down, too, because you never know when inspiration will strike. And remember, the time to start is always now!
