Old Book from the 16th Century Can Be Read 6 Different Ways

What makes each book unique is that two different people can see the same book differently and take very different meanings from it. But this book here, printed back in the late 16th century, lets people actually read six different books individually in one contraption. This treasure on display at the National Library of Sweden discovered by Erik Kwakkel, uses a sixfold dos-à-dos binding technique with the help of six cleverly places clasps. It is quite the display of craftmanship that just doesn’t exist too often in modern publishing today and sort of like an old school version of a tablet reader.
