Spotify now automatically shows upcoming concert events for your favorite artists directly on their Spotify pages. Spotify integrated with Songkick nearly two years ago in an effort to better surface live events to users based on the musicians and bands they listen to via its music streaming application.
The new feature, spotted by The Next Web, will show upcoming events on artist pages based on the country in which you live. Those who have the Songkick Spotify app installed will be able to click each concert listing for more information.

This is surely a useful feature for staying up-to-date with your favorite bands’ newest gigs on Spotify. In the future, though, it would be nice to see more city-specific information, too, with potential alerts to always keep you in the loop!
