NFLThe first week of NFL games are in the books. The Chip Kelly era started in Philadelphia with an impressive win over the Washington Redskins. The Eagles offense put up 26 points in the first half, and held on despite a strong second half by the Skins. Former Eagle coach, Andy Reid, also got off to a winning start in his debut with the Chiefs. They cruised to a 28-2 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Denver Broncos kicked off the NFL season against the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. The Broncos actually trailed at home in the first half, but exploded for 35 points in the second half as Peyton Manning ended the game with a record tying seven TD passes. The Broncos travel to East Rutherford in the “Manning Bowl” as Peyton takes on little brother Eli.

Washington Redskins at Green Bay Packers (-7)

Redskins at Green-BayMatchup: Robert Griffin (RG3) returned to lineup last week against the Eagles, but struggled in the first half as the Redskins came up short. Green Bay hung with the 49ers in week one, but couldn’t get over hump losing by six. One of these playoff teams from last year will leave Lambeau at 0-2.

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)

Browns at RavensMatchup: The Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens led the Denver Broncos at halftime, but were outscored 35-10 in the second half on the way to a 22 point defeat. The Browns managed only 10 points at home and lost their opener to the Dolphins. It will be interesting to see if the Ravens can bounce back here.

St. Louis Rams at Atlanta Falcons (-7)

Rams at FalconsMatchup: The St. Louis Rams travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons and former teammate RB Stephen Jackson. The Rams started the season with a comeback win against the Cardinals outscoring them 14-0 in the 4th. The Falcons had the ball inside the Saint 10 yard line late in the game, but couldn’t punch it into the endzone.

San Diego Chargers at Philadelphia Eagles (-7.5)

Chargers at EaglesMatchup: The Eagles jumped all over the Redskins in the first half and held on as Chip Kelly won his first NFL game. The Chargers suffered a devastating loss Monday night at the hands of the Texans. After taking a 28-7 lead in the third, SD was outscored 24-0 by the Texans to end the game.

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears (-6)

Vikings-at-BearsMatchup: The Minnesota Vikings look to change their luck as they travel to Chicago. The Vikings have been owned by the Bears in recent years. The Bears have taken the last 11 of 12 at home against the Vikings, including six straight. The Bears look to start 2-0 after nice comeback win last week against Cincinnati.

Carolina Panthers (-3) at Buffalo Bills

Panthers at BillsMatchup: The Buffalo Bills gave the New England Patriots all they could handle last week, but came up a little bit short 23-21. They’ll look to get their first win against a Carolina team that lost a tough against Seattle last week. The Panthers were driving late for the go ahead touchdown when DeAngelo Williams fumbled eight yards away from the end zone. This is Carolina’s first visit to Buffalo since 2005.

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans (-9)

Titans at TexansMatchup: The Titans are off a big upset win in Pittsburgh where they led the entire game after a 2-0 deficit. The Titans now travel to Houston to take on a Texan teams off a thrilling win in SD.

Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts (-3)

Dolphins at ColtsMatchup: This is a battle of 1-0 teams. The Colts did enough to get the win last week against the Oakland Raiders. The Dolphins won on the road last week at Cleveland 23-10 led by QB Ryan Tannehill.

Dallas Cowboys at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5)

Cowboys at ChiefsMatchup: Andy Reid faces one of his old rivals as the Cowboys visit Kansas City. The Chiefs routed the Jaguars as new KC quarterback Alex Smith went 21 of 34 in Jacksonville. The Cowboys played a wild one at home against Giants and found a way to win 36-31.

New Orleans Saints (-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Saints at BuccaneersMatchup: The Bucs look for their first win as they take on the Saints in Tampa Bay. The Bucs lost a tough one to Jets after leading most of the way. The Saints, with Sean Payton back at the helm, outlasted the Falcons 23-17.

Detroit Lions (-1) at Arizona Cardinals

Denver Broncos (-4.5) at NY Giants

Eli and Giants were hit by the turnover bug in Dallas in a loss to the Cowboys. All-Pro Denver linebacker, Von Miller, remains suspended and will not play.

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (-3)

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati Bengals (-7)

Steelers at BengalsMatchup: The Steelers were shutdown last week against Tennessee at home, and they lost Center Maurkice Pouncey. He tore the ACL and MCL in his right knee, and linebacker Larry Foote ruptured his biceps. Cincy looks to bounce back from a tough loss in Chicago.
