Maroon 5 is back with a new single and it’s a good one. Released today, “Maps” was uploaded to Maroon 5’s YouTube Channel Maroon5VEVO. From their upcoming fifth album V, the song is about love, supporting someone through dark times and losing the affection and support of that person. But the song is optimistic, as the band sings about the path back into someones’s good graces by “following the map” that leads to that person, according to the lyrics.
True to Maroon 5 style, the song is upbeat and catchy, showcasing Adam Levine’s vocal talent and the band’s musical skill and expertise.
