Kevin Bacon is disgruntled. He’s disgruntled that memories of the 1980s are fading away, especially among the iPhone-toting and Starbucks-guzzling Millennials. To make sure the ’80s don’t disappear into oblivion, Bacon has put together an ’80s awareness video to open Generation’s Y‘s eyes to the difficulties of life before “OKTwinder,” Google and personal cell phones, a time so dangerous you couldn’t even skateboard to Blockbuster without being nuked by the Russians.
“You people will never know the comfort of parachute pants,” he says before storming off camera.
