American DJ and record producer Kaskade announced that we’ll have to wait another three whole months for the release of his album, Atmosphere. While we’ll have plenty of things to listen to while we wait for the album’s September release, we can already buy tickets to the fall Atmosphere tour and, on June 10, we can listen to the album’s lead single and title track, “Atmosphere,” to our hearts’ content.
I’m anticipating this album as a fresh take on the work of one of the best DJs in America; after all, the album’s title song features Kaskade himself as the lead vocalist, a first in the artist’s tenure. “I’ve always toyed around with the right idea,” Kaskade told Rolling Stone. “I think I was waiting for the right song, and this song, when I wrote it I was like, ‘This is so personal I should just sing it myself.'”
