5 Rules to Follow for Instagram Newbies

Instagram rules

Are you more concerned by how your food looks than how your food tastes? If so, you may be addicted to Instagram. For those of you new to the site, there are a few rules of the trade you should follow. First, never spare on #hashtags. In fact, the more hashtags you use on Instagram, the merrier! Next, don’t worry about using an ultra-HD camera; you should apply a vintage Polaroid filter inspired by the 70’s to every photo you take. In the end, this makes photo quality obsolete and creates maximum hipster pleasure. Make sure never to criticize Facebook, since Facebook owns the damn thing! Lastly, but maybe most importantly, understand that you won’t be fully accepted into the Instagram community until you’ve uploaded the initiation image: a picture of an open book resting on your legs.

  1. While I like some better than others, I do enjoy using different filters. Just joined because of the 15 second fame videos. The video filters are hard to distinguish, but cop shows and movie trailers are already being made on Instavideo. In the future we will all be famous….oops, your 15 seconds are up!
