Google Releases Chromecast App for iOS

Chromecast screenshotChromecast is an easy way to watch online video and other Web media directly on your TV. Just plug a $35 Chromecast device into any HDTV and you can control media playback with your smartphone, tablet, or computer, without a remote. Today Apple users can join in the fun with the newly released Chromecast app for iOS.

Chromecast lets you “cast” some of your favorite Web content from YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, and more, along with movies and songs from Google Play, on your big TV screen! Additional online services are sure to join the fleet of third party apps available to cast.

Starting today, the Chromecast app is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
