I guess some things will stay the same after all. Like most new albums these days, it appears Drake’s new Nothing Was the Same has been leaked to the internet.
Drake has come along way since his So Far Gone debut. Just check out his new single “Pound Cake,” above, featuring musical heavyweights Jay-Z and Ellie Goulding.
Drake, who often combines his lyrical prowess through both hip hop and R&B choruses, said this about the new project:
Sometimes when I try and think back through this journey it’s hard to pinpoint all these moments, on past albums when I’ve been trying to tell the story, I’ve got there but maybe not got there all the way. This is my most clear, concise thoughts from now, and my best recollection of then.
