When Is the Best Time to Drink Coffee According to Science?

There is nothing like a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the morning, right? But when do you usually take in your cups of Joe? Scientifically speaking, our bodies work on a natural rhythm known as the circadian clock which is a hormonal cycle that occurs every 24 hours to let us know when we should do a variety of useful things like wake up, eat, sleep and more. So if you find yourself drinking a lot of coffee throughout the day to stay focused, you could instead try to drink caffeine at more strategical times throughout the day following drops to your cortisol and energy levels which typically happen between 9:30-11:30 am and 1:30-5:00 pm depending on your sleep schedule.
